Surfari Pals educates children in the social and personal skills they need to excel now and in the future. Skills such as: how to set goals, using basic manners, social etiquette, and to serve those around them. This is called character development.

Surfari Pals is an investment for cultivating healthy, capable, positive young adults for our future.

SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL

Picture
Julian the Jellyfish teaches kids it’s not polite to talk with our mouths full. I guess the main reason is because it’s really hard to understand me when I do, and I’m sure nobody wants to see what I’m eating…Yikes!

ENVIRONMENT

Picture
Trash, trash, trash!!! It is everywhere you look. The problem is someone did not throw it away or recycle it. So, we are going to help clean up our world, one piece of trash at a time. You may be wondering, “Why do I need to pick up trash?” Well, less litter on the ground benefits animals and humans. Often, litter on the ground ends up in a river, and our rivers lead to our oceans.

LIFE SKILLS

Picture
Have you ever met someone new, or walked into a room full of people and you did not know anyone there? That can be a strange situation because you may not know what to say or do at first. Howard the Halibut is going to teach us how to properly introduce ourselves.

ACADEMIC

Picture
Reading can take us on the most grand adventures, and the best part is that we can go anywhere at any time. Sometimes reading can be a little overwhelming, but if we take it only one page at a time, we can read any book we want.

 HEALTHY HABITS

Picture
Duke the Dorado teaches us to wash our hands with soap and water as soon as we can to clean the germs away. Duke says, keep your hands clean by washing them often, and always use soap. Washing our hands will keep us…and everyone else…happy and healthy.
